Tell the Wild I’m Home: A Beginning

It all begins with an idea.

Somewhere between the towering peaks and the open sky, I found a feeling I didn’t have words for.

Not just awe. Not just wonder.

It was a kind of quiet recognition — as if the wind knew my name, and the mountains had been waiting for me to return.

Welcome to Tell the Wild I’m Home.

This space is for the ones who feel more alive with dirt on their trail shoes and sunlight on their face. The ones who seek beauty, not just to see it — but to feel it. And for anyone who’s ever stood at the edge of something vast and wild and thought, “This. This is what I’ve been looking for.”

Why I Started This

This blog began as albums of iPhone vacation photos—a collection of memories, images of craggy peaks, sunrises and sunsets, and tranquil beaches—all awaiting their time to shine. The quiet ache of longing for wild places when I’m away from them led me to create a space to document those memories and photos until I can go on the next wild adventure.

Over time, I realized I wasn’t the only one seeking something deeper through travel — not just escape, but connection. Not just adventure, but belonging.

So Tell the Wild I’m Home became more than an iPhone photo album. It became a promise — to keep exploring, to keep returning to the places that make us feel more ourselves. To follow beauty wherever it roams.

You don’t have to summit mountains to belong here. You don’t need the right shoes or the best camera.

You just need a little wonder. A little hunger for something more real than routine. A little longing to be part of something ancient and alive.

So whether you’re planning your next big trek, dreaming of a quiet cabin escape, or just craving something wild in the middle of a crowded day — I’m glad you’re here.

Let’s tell the wild: we’re home.

With wild gratitude,
Victoria

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
